WoodNet aims
to help
people to
understand and to make the best use of the unique woodlands of South East England and the
opportunities available for renewable timber production and wood use
locally.
WoodNet is based
at the
Woodland Enterprise Centre near Flimwell, East Sussex, and manages
twenty hectares of demonstration woodland for research and education.
WoodNet projects
are supported by
SEEDA, The Forestry Commission, East Sussex County Council, West Sussex
County Council, Hampshire County Council, The Ernest Cook Trust, Leader+,
The WARR Partnership and Plumpton College.
