EDUCATION

Sustainable Construction
The Woodland Enterprise Centre is available as a site for training in principles of sustainable construction, and the building and renewable energy demonstration are suitable for many curriculum topic projects.

Woodland skills
A range of forestry and woodland management skill training courses are carried out by Plumpton College, either at Flimwell, or near Battle.

For further information contact
simon.bishop@plumpton.ac.uk

There are also opportunities to use the Flimwell site for skills training in other environmental or timber-related courses.

Design
Projects demonstrating use of local timber in furniture and 3D design can be organised.  Materials are available for students to experiment with.
